Online & Telephone Sessions

Navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming and confusing at times.

Whether you’re seeking minor or significant shifts in your sense of well-being, counselling offers supportive and professional guidance to assist you in working towards this.

Taking the initial steps into therapy can take a lot of courage, but I’m here to support you every step of the way. Online and telephone appointments allow you to engage in your sessions from the familiarity and comfort of your own environment.

Online and telephone counselling offers convenience and accessibility in ways that in-person sessions usually cannot accommodate. I aim to offer a flexible approach, giving you the choice of online (via Teams), telephone or in-person appointments.

Differences and similarities to in-person sessions

Remote sessions may feel different to traditional face-to-face appointments. Many individuals find it more comfortable to communicate online or on the telephone, especially in the familiar environment of their own surroundings.

While there are some differences when accessing sessions remotely, the core principles of counselling remain the same. Research consistently shows that online and telephone therapy can be as effective as in-person counselling.

Remote access to counselling presents both advantages and challenges. The convenience of this approach may be appealing, but technical issues could pose potential challenges. Rest assured, I am committed to assisting you in resolving any technical hitches should they arise during a session.

You may be wondering whether online/phone therapy is suitable for you. It’s natural to have reservations, and sometimes, the best way to decide is through experience. There’s no commitment beyond the first appointment, providing you the freedom to assess whether this method for accessing appointments feels right for you.
